Leaving the home
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ، لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِٱللَّهِ
Bismillahi tawakkaltu 'ala Allah, la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah
In the name of Allah, I place my trust in Allah; there is no might nor power except with Allah.
What this supplication is
The dua of leaving the home plants trust (tawakkul) in the first step of the day's journey. 'No might and no power except with Allah' is the recognition that strength for everything before you comes from Allah alone.
When to recite it
When leaving the house for the day, work, school or travel.
